Did they really need 11 police cars to chase a run-of-the-mill Nissan ?

Sure - you don't think that any cop around is going to miss out on the fun, do
you? And sure it takes that many - haven't you ever seen, "The Blues
Brothers"?

At least these cops are doing real police work - getting a criminal off the
streets. That's better than you can say for the cop on the overpass with a
radar gun just trying to get to the end of his shift.
