1992 E36 325i blower motor
Hi,
Can anybody advise me how to change the blower motor? I have removed the wiper arms, the air plenum and the spark plug cover. It looks like that the wiper motor is attached to a linkage assembly, but I couldn't find the wiper motor support bracket. I can see the blower motor in the center but there seems too little space to get it out. Am I on the right track and what else should I remove? Could you give me instructions on how to replace the blower motor? Thanks, K |

Try these steps:
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Remove the engine compartment heater inlet. 2. Unclip the blower motor end covers and remove them from the housing. If necessary, remove the pollen filters. 3. Release the clips and lift off the blower motor covers. Disconnect the motor wiring then release the motor retaining clip and manoeuvre the motor out of position. 4. Refitting is the reversal of removal procedure making sure the motor is correctly clipped into the housing and the housing covers are securely refitted. |
