Default air scoop design Q.

summer time and I believe the 1776 needs more incoming air. since the
engine lid vents were originally for a 40 h.p. engine , I'm working on a
scoop to push more air in. I'm adding a third brake lite to the
scoop,too.
any hints? the car is a '60 K.G. cabriolet. the days of the big clock.
the inside pan on the lid is metal. the good ol dayz.
