And you DO want to do it because as the seals deteriorate, eventually you'll get to the point where the piston is rubbing against the cylinder and tears it up, and then you're in for replacement instead of just rebuilding. Getting the thing out and back in is hard, changing the seals on the bench is pretty easy. If you don't have a lift, take it to someone who does. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra.
