power window motor regulator/motor...
i just replaced the regulator/motor in the driver side door of my '91
BRG Miata due to a broken cable... if anyone has the capability of fixing the one i removed and is interested in purchasing it i am willing to sell it at a very reasonable price ($30 + shipping) the motor works fine it's just the cable that is broken, i've seen on miata.net that it can be repaired but it isn't really something i'm interested in doing. it can be a cheap replacement for someone who needs it and i'd rather see it used rather than toss it so if it can be of use to you reply here and i'll give you the details for purchasing it. thanks, robert |

For future reference, the manual regulator uses the same cable, and is considerably cheaper if the old motor is still good. Too bad Mazda doesn't sell the cable separately--a lot more cables seem to break than motors. -- Lanny Chambers '94C, St. Louis http://www.hummingbirds.net/alignment.html |

power window motor regulator/motor...
I seem to remember that motorcycle shops may have the necessary stuff to
make a replacement cable. You can get the cables separately here in the UK - http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_in...roducts_id/226 . I did that when my cable snapped and it was fine. They probably also deliver to the US.
