Good luck tracing some guy the tag he had on his car in 1978 without
even knowing what state. So if you can search the registration records
from each east coast state in 1978 you might get joe's name and address
in 1978. From there you'll have to try and trace joe. Even more
difficult will be finding where he's got the car stored. Good luck.

Since the car hasn't been registered since 1978, probably not. Once the
state is determined it would point to his address back in the 70s when he
bought the car.

This article was written in 1990, 14 years ago. It's been on the net for
years now. Nobody has found 'joe' or the car yet. Maybe you should take a
crack at it
