Default T3 auto to manual

Probably at some stage I,ll have to change my automatic T3 over to manual.
I,ve got all the hardware off a donor car but is there a more simple way of
installing the clutch cable tube?. ( I understand some auto,s have the
manual pipes etc fitted but not used but not mine) Probably a hydraulic
conversion would be easier as far as running the tube if you could find a
suitable slave/master cylinder. I was thinking of cutting access holes in
tunnel to fit tube then welding back up again. Any better ideas?
Cheers
John

about converting a Type 1 car from AutoStick to Manual.
The site is long gone but, thru the magic of the WayBack machine, the pages
have been archived he

There is a link on the page for a How-To on installing a conduit tube.
The T3 should be the same in that regard although you have to watch dimensions
as they changed year to year.

These archived pages may take a while to load, so be patient.
