Obey it and you're suspicious for driving abnormally slow... exceed it, and a cop could say you're speeding. Damn'd if you do, damn'd if you don't. |

Everyone is familiar with the school zone speed limits. 35 MPH (for
example) normally, but possess 20 MPH "When Children Are Present". Obviously, when school is getting out at 3:00 PM and the kids are walking home, the speed limit is 20 MPH. But what about at 2:00 AM when some kid has just pried a CD player out of a parked car and happens to run along the road in front of a school? -- Paul Hovnanian ------------------------------------------------------------------ Misery loves company, especially this one. |

And of course while the driver is being fleeced, the real criminal gets away. God bless America. -- "I love this country... ...and the freedoms we used to have..." --George Carlin |

Being out at 2:00 AM by itself would raise suspicion. |
