Default rfactor, I HATE THIS CRAP OF

having to earn cars, I've been racing for 20 years, and if I pay for a new
sim, I want to be able to drive any car in it without having to go through
all this buying and selling crap. Can't even drive the cars in that were in
the demo.
THIS SUCKS>>>

There's a 2 day money back guarantee. I strongly suggest you use it and
spare us your whinging. You should have known about it before you bought
the game.

Anyway, there's a cheat code already to shut up whiners like yourself.

The zip file in that thread worked just fine. I added
a readme.txt for myself so I'll remember what to do if
I ever need to setup a new account.

Being a F1C99-02 fan (I feel the need for speed), I
liked the forumla car the best so far. Didn't take too
long before I was running sub 1:15's at the Toban GP track.

Sub 1:10's now, best lap is a 1:09.2. Still the AI at 100% are
doing 1:07's so I have a ways to go. There's a couple of corners
that the AI seem to be able to take one gear taller than me.

Yep that's the way it works in real life too, anybody with enough money
can jump right in at the top level without any training wheel series
experience.

Just ask Tim Allen and Jason Preistley.

I have no big problem with the advancement system. But when you need
good results to advance and an idiotic F1 car runs square into the back of
you (when you are right over to one side of the track) at a speed
differential of about 100mph - well, that's just ****ED! LOL

There looks like there's a good game in there - said the same thing
about CPR though.

Someone needs to introduce some of these ****ing idiots to the concept
of the chain being as strong as the weakest link.

I'm quietly optimistic about rFactor but this issue is just ****ingwell
annoying! It's very disappointing to see a sim released with a glaring
weakness like that.

And at days end I start getting CTDs.

Im going to bed............................................... ......

To be continued......................................... ......

Did you know that you can select which cars can be used by the AI? It fixes
the speed differential problem by removing the formula cars.

If people spent half as much effort doing a little research than they did
complaining, the world would be a beautiful place.

I hate when people dont comprehend what they read then come back with a
smart ass reply...

Changing to a single class of cars doesnt fix the root issue my friend.

If you had read his initial post you would have noticed he said that even
pulling nearly off the track they still nail him (us) instead of making a
clean pass..... In other words blind/deaf/dumb....

RFactor offers mixed class racing but the AI is incapable of reacting to a
human on the track regardless whether a mix class race or not. Mix class
just makes it worse is all.

I started running F1 only 10 min after I installed the game and the AI is
still HORRIBLE by any standard. I start on the back of the grid and
determined to avoid ANY contact. Regardless how careful I am moments after
I pass the 2nd to last car he punts me.

Then to top it off you have to exit the race and go through race setup all
over again... Rinse, Repeat...

Mitch
