Radar Detector RX7000
Can Anyone tell me if the PNI Traveller RX7000 Radar Detector is a
good unit. I found one on EBAY Brand new for $58.50 and was wondering if it was a good price for this battery operated radar detector.. ? Thanks Gary |

Battery operated detectors do not continuously monitor for radar signals. Therefore, they're not likely to warn you in time. In fact, if you're going to invest in a RD, get a good one (which you're not going to find for under $400 or so new). Getting a cheap detector that fails to alert you in time just leads to you having paid for the detector and the ticket. The good detector will pay for itself within 2 or 3 warnings. |
