Default S2000 convertible soft top

The soft top on my S2000 is being worn by one of the folding
arms.
It appears that the source of wear are two deteriorated
elastic bands that should provide tension as the top retracts
and folds.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
If so, have you found good solutions?

TIA,
John

Replace the bands. Call your dealer.
