I think this sign may be a bit misleading, Ron. The car is a 1965 Ford
Galaxie 500 and I think by this time the Australian Fords shared their
styling with the US products of the same year. The first owners could
definitely have purchased the car at the end of 1964 but it would have been
the next model year.

Yes, you are correct, Max.
Our 1964 has horizontal headlights
Maybe I should let the museum know.

Cheers,
Ron
