Burnout Revenge for PS2 Online problem fix
After trying various games online, the only one that gave me an error
was Burnout Revenge. The error was telling me about my firwall setting not letting port 3658 through. Why this game and not others? Anyway luckily I knew how to port forward my router..Go to google and type in port forwarding and the router name. Mine was Westell 327W ... Anyway once you set up the router and open that port it will work. Following is what I did to get Burnout revenge to work. The Port 3658 must be allowed open thus you must Port Forward on the router... Every Router is different address but once you bring up the router you must add that 3658 number to port forwarding and make sure UDP is enabled Not TCP... Then save the changes. The game now works for me ... NOTE: Don't mess around with anything if your not sure or else or your router could have trouble getting online. Why 3658 is a problem with this game and not others still eludes me...anyone know any other trouble games online??? |
