Any "real" soldier (not spelt "slave zombie") does not commit to combat
due to a leader being unable to get the right group (Bin Laden) and so
taking it out on an already beaten but not entirely finished off (due to
George W's old man) group (Saddam/Iraq). The "Coalition of the willing" are
pathetic little children in the eyes of all but other pathetic little
children.

In combat in a civilian zone and non desperate circumstances, the use of
puppy drug addicts in the field, or even any troop under the age of 21 or
so, is inexcusable. Uniforms are not in play here and the line between enemy
and innocent civilian is blury to say the least. Imagine how blury that line
is to a teenager and then imagine how blury it is to one on drugs! Clearly,
bullets are getting sprayed around on a whim in many cases. Just a joke. And
this is not even taking into account the morality and character of any
individuals either!

Just a note here - in this country (australia), hitting a child is not a
last resort - it's a trip to prison and an excuse for the gov't to steal
your children. This is the great democracy we ar bringing to Iraq. LOL.

Such laws get passed since the gov't is full of the ****ed who wish to
**** everyone else. Also, since they have no character and standards to pass
to there children they have no need for such tools ie the odd belt over the
earhole for a child in the grip of a **** of a god or just plain stupidity.
The best way to **** your own children over is to stand by and watch them
fall into every trap here on planet earth - something that is inevitable
without 1st rate parental guidance. And part of 1st rate parental guidance
is the odd belt over the head or whatever is needed to purge the demons.

It is the bad soldier that kills children and the innocent

It is the bad soldier that spreads homosexuality in Iraq

It is the bad soldier that inspires people to level things like the twin
towers

etc, etc, etc

The first one I agree.

The second one, I have no knowledge and don't understand why
homesexuality is bad to spread. Now..Aids..that is different.
From what read of Abu Graib..it was Iraqi men raping Iraqi
young men at the wink and nod of America.

The third one...I don't see the connection. Bin Laden's beef was
with having Infidels stationed in the Holy Land(Saudi Arabia) And
having the Saudi Prince choose America to defend them instead of the
Mujahadeen(sp?) Other Wahabi terrorists have used our decadent lifestyle
as reason enough to destroy and kill. The al-qaida group was attacking
because we are the USA, not because we are USA Soldiers. While they did
strike directly at US military, (USS Cole, The Khobar Towers) they also
directed attacks at symbols of the US goverment, like the two embassies
in
Africa that were bombed and...one might argue...the two separate attacks
on
the Twin Towers. So a bad soldier is just as much a symbol of the
Goverment as a good soldier. To groups like Al Quaida, there is zero
difference. And most of these attacks took place against a Democratic
President, they do not care about our petty distinctions. It is the USA
they attack because we are the USA, not because a Republican President
is in power, or, as shown above, a Democratic one.

I figure we will see several Murder trials resulting from the
Hadifa shootings. Already there have been officers that have been
releived of command.(a career death sentence if nothing else) The
actions of the 'bad' soldiers will be punished. I doubt though, that
the punishments of the Marines will sate the hatred of the military by
many.

I work in an industry that is flooded with retired Vetrans, and they
span the gamut of good to bad. As with ANY group, beit Middle Eastern
Madrassa Teachers, Politicians, citizens, and even college educated
proffesionals, there will be evil in every group. Joining the Army does
not guarentee there are no bad apples, just as joining a political party
does not guarentee that all the elected officials will be motivated to
act in the best interests of their constituants.

I will end this by declaring my support of the United States Soldier.
I do not hate them, I am not any more disgusted of their actions than I
am of any group. I marvel at the sacrifices they make on my behalf.

how nice. I'm sure when the Military is run as a democracy then the
results of such a poll would be relevant. Without knowing the internals of
such a poll, the numbers are meaningless. I can site the record numbers of
re-inlistments as just as valid or non-valid a number as the above poll.

for example..
Question: If the Iraqi Military/Police proved they could defend the
populace, would you want to leave
Iraq by the end of the year?

for example:
Question: Since we all know there will be no victory in Iraq, do you want
to leave by year's end or wait til the politicians feel they have run out
of Grunts to kill?

for example:
Question. Do you agree with President Bush's plan to reduce troop strength
as the Iraqi Goverment proves it can defend it's people? If so, would you
hope this was possible by year's end?

for example:
Question. If you knew the Iranian backed insurgents would have free reign
to murder possibly millions of Iraqis after a premature US pullout. would
you still want to leave by year's end?

for example:
Question. If you knew this topic was out of the realm of this newsgroup
and you continued to post anyway, would you therefore expect everyone else
to be just as frivolous with any rule and therefore our soldiers would be
completely justified in any action they took against any group?

So when the previous Democratic Presidential canditate stated that Saddam
must be dis-armed, was he lieing? When the previous democratic President
declared Iraq a terrorist state and signed legislation that stated 'regime
change', was he lieing? So when the leader of the CIA, a man appointed
first by a Democratic President said that the presense of WMD in IRAQ was a
slam dunk, was HE lieing? When the King of Jordan stated that Iraq had
WMD, When the President of Egypt stated to General Franks that Saddam had
many WMD, When the intelligence agencies of Russia, France, Germany,
England, Israel, along with dozens of other countries...were they ALL
lieing?
When the former National Security Advisor to President Clinton stole and
destroyed classified documents from the National Archives...was that
corrupt? When a private detective, hired by the subbordinates of President
Clinton and a man with ZERO clearance, aquired hundreds of IRS files of US
citizens, was that not only corrupt but spying on Americans?
If one is to make such horrific statements, at least one could do is
provide some sort of proof that lieing took place. If one was to charge
politicians as corrupt, the least he could do is tell us WHICH politicians
were corrupt and why. If one is to blindly beleive that only the OTHERSIDE
is bad bad bad, then one must not have a very firm grasp of reality. The
reality is...Political parties are all exactly the same, they all do that
which benefits themselves..

There was a President that was for Tax Cuts, that was for foreign
intervention, that was for clandestine regime change. This President was
Democrat JFK.
There was a President was for the arrest and detention of hundreds of
thousands of US citizens all without any warrants. This President replaced
the entire Supreme court. This President was Democrat.
There was a President who allowed his underlings to break laws and steal
sensitive information. This President then used his power to protect those
under him. This President also used the IRS to punish those who criticized
him. This President was Republican.
There was a President who suborned Perjury and allowed his lawyer in a
court of law to perpetuate this perjury, this president bald-facedly lied
to the American people on camera and then had his entire cabinet criss-
cross the country to defend and repeat the lie.
Another President suspended parts of the Constitution and deported some
political opponents. That president was Republican.

Please folks..wake up. We are not served by crucifying our opponents while
totally ignoring behavior that is identical or even worse from those whom
you support. Yes the Republicans have done wrong. But to suggest, that
ONLY the Republicans are corrupt, is sooo naive.

And did you notice that not ONCE, not a single solitary time, did I
insult. I have, and continue to post without screaming invective at either
side.

The most annoying thing about Liberal anti-war tree huggers is that they are
right but do not know how to implement their philosophies.
Check out Neil Young's new CD "Living With War". It's probably his finest
album to date and that's saying something. It's because he's writing and
singing with passion but, unfortunately, as with all these well meaning,
Dudley do rights, they can never actually explain how all this peace love
and understanding is going to come about.
Shame, as most of what they strive for is perfectly reasonable. Just
un-achievable. How do the explain Nanking, the holocaust or any other
atrocity ? It's because there are human beings(?) among us that have never
been influenced by any political thinking. They have a different agenda.

Well said Ted. I also agree with some of those ideas but as you say (kinda)
and "an idea does not a solution make". lol.

Problem is we give an inch and they take a mile with their socialist agenda.
Everyone isnt equal. Equality comes from desire, hard work, and ability not
some scumbag politicians penstroke.

If someone want to bitch at something why not attack the real enemy,
Congress....
