Not sure which one you have now, the Loud Mouth or the Power Flow.
I've only installed the Loud Mouth and didn't think it came near the
lower sound of my Corsa's at the time.

NOT THE LOUD MOUTH.... (caps intentional) ....

I have the much more subdued Power Flow... only barks at WOT just a
hint of something is different at idle.. More my style (for driving)
...actually when I drive the 98 my wife is almost always in the car
and she does not apprciate the same sound (music) .as I do.
