Default How many racing sims?

Just checked to see how many racing sims I had on my computer and to my
surprise 25 sim/mods. I still play all of them from time to time, whatever
i'm in the mood for. If they stopped making racing sims now i'd still be
happy with what I have. No complaints on lack of new sims. Kudos to all the
modders that have enriched our racing experience, you have improved the
original games beyond my expectations and I thank for it.

I just don't know how you guys find the time to play all those sims. I only run GPL '69 & 65, Nascar 2003 Trucks & Nextel. Strickly off line racing these days. Too old, to slow, and little to no time for any online leagues.

I don't have the time, I just play each one for a short period of time.
If there's a career mode, I usually complete it, with the exception
of GTLegends, where I just set the timeout factor to .01 seconds, so
that all AI cars would just dissappear at the start of each race.
Career completed without any racing at all.

In the past, I spent about 2 years on and off with the Need For Speed
series, since NFS4:High Stakes was the first racing game with true
online racing (EA server now shut down, but software was created
add a chat room ad list of TCP-IP hosted races). I played GPL for
about 9 months on and off, and maybe 1 or 2 weeks a year after that
to get my GPL Rank down to a -10. As time ad more and more racing
games were released, I spent less time with each one.

My favorite game series is the Tombraider series, but it won't be
until sometime next year for the next (and probably final) version.

Hello,

Can you please tell me more about Australian V8 Supercars? Is this for
the PC? Can I get it in the USA? Who makes it, Atari?

Thanks.

If interested, I have videos from many racing games on
my web site, both arcade and simulation. Some of these
are dual-view, two videos on the screen at the same
time, like onboard and chase view at the same time.

"V8 Supercar Challenge for F1 Challenge 99-02" is, as the name indicates, a
mod for "F1 Challenge 99-02".
It was made by an organisation called "Team ORSM". http://www.v8gaming.com/
is their official website, where you can find a download-link. Make sure to
install not only the mod, but the 1.1-patch, too. http://www.ausorc.com/
released a trackpack, but you have to register and I donīt know, if the
trackpack-download is still available there. You could also drop me a pm and
I am sure we could find a way to get the tracks to you and also an updated
version of Bathurst.

BTW the mod is fantastic!

Regards
Stephan
