brake inlet hose bolt

You'll probably wind up stripping the fitting on the brake line too. Then what, replace the whole line back to the master cylinder? There must be a dozen things you could do to get that bolt out. Take off the caliper and get it into a position where you could cut off the bolt head with a hack saw or cut off wheel on a dremmel tool, drill it out, us vise grips, use a smaller socket and beat it on etc.. If getting out a stripped bolt is beyond your capabilities, then you might want to consider letting a mechanic do the job. It could be cheaper in the long run. -- Kevin Mouton Automotive Technology Instructor "If women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy" Red Green |
