Default jr/sc idler question

hi,

i got my belt and idler today and in the 10 degree weather i started to
install them. however, the idler looked like it was going to rub its
bracket and it was too cold/getting dark for me to investigate furhter
tonight. so, is there a spacer that goes between the idler and the bracket?
