and if you don't believe it, you're a conspiracy kook....

Or on the other hand, just realize that government-corporate
partnerships are (with little exception that I haven't found) designed
to rip off the productive population because of stories like this one:

http://thenewspaper.com/news/34/3433.asp

"Barosi used about fifty speed cameras, but only two of them were
properly calibrated and certified. When a motorist received a citation
in the mail, the serial number on the ticket would be from one of the
two certified units. The camera actually used was rigged to display
speeds fifteen percent higher than actual. This created a significant
amount of profit as the contracts gave Barosi's firm forty percent of
each ticket he was able to issue."

Any syndicated news source besides "The Newspaper" to support this?

Ever the statist... if it doesn't come from government press release
reading mainstream media in the USA it has to be a lie...

Anyway here's the google search you were too lazy to do:
http://www.google.com/search?client=...c225fd22400f27

Another english language source from said search:
http://www.autoevolution.com/news/ri...ger-33121.html

The rest, not surprisingly, are in Itallian.
I even did the work of having google translate one for you:
http://translate.google.com/translat...cup_le_iene%2F

I won't be surprised at yet another source bashing without cause or
evidence of anything being false.

Camera companies, of course care nothing about speed, red lights etc.
It's the money.
Same with local govts. It's about the money.
I've been present when they seemed took pains to craft their language,
so that it was understood it was the money but it was not talked about.
If average Citizens were running governemnts there would be a lot lot
less of these immoral and illegal operations.

The problem with socialism is there's always
someone with less ability and more need.
