Default Logitech G25 Wheel...

To change the shifter mode from sequential to 6 speed, you have to push
DOWN the gear lever, then turn the mode selector dial (whilst still
pushing down on the gear lever).

If you do this you can change the gear mode easily.

IMHO, the 6 speed option is too loose and flaky, its often difficult to
get the right gear. However, I like the sequential box. But, you have to
get used to the fact that you should push the gear lever forward or back
to shift, and DO NOT accidentally PUSH IT DOWN, as I often did and ended
up with the gear lever back in 6 speed mode or in no gear at all!

Personally tho' I still prefer the on wheel paddle shifters, not having
to take your hands off the wheel makes life much easier when driving.

I get this effect in GPL too!

Whenever I leave the car, enter the garage screen, etc the wheel just
shakes really badly (makes the mouse fall off my base) and it continues
to shake until I go back another screen in GPL, (leave that session /
game) or until I get back in the car!

Is there any way to stop this happening?

Thanx

I got it to stop by increasing the dead zone ever so slightly. You can also
go into control panel and decrease the FF intensity just a bit. These are
very slight adjustments and don't effect much else. Depending on your
particular system (all react just a bit differently) you might just need to
spend a few minutes experimenting within the sim and the control panel to
find what works for you.

Yep it's zero and the range of travel is set the same in the
controller ini file in the game as it is in the controller settings
