Seeing that they are getting well over $50k for the GT500 and they
probably have less than $6k-$7k invested in parts to make a Mustang GT
into a GT500 they are probably making more money under their current
system. Just look at how much money they are making off the Shelby name
alone on these cars. Without that name on it they would be lucky to get
$40k for them, IMO.

I vote for the latter too but I doubt it will put more money in Fords
pocket over what they are doing now. Plus, I think the days of having
long option lists to choose from on factory orders are long gone for
cost saving reasons. I would love to have an option for a a rock solid
bottom end though. Then all it would take is a KB blower to make my own
GT500, or hell make it a GT600!
