I'd be willing to bet that someone with more cash came in and jumped in line
ahead of you. I've seen that before and its not right. You go in to make
your deposit and what options you want. Mr. moneybags comes in a month later
and says he'll pay a couple grand over retail cash in hand to get in one
early not caring what options it has. They look on the list and see yours is
the next to come in then sell it to him and reorder yours again. I've had it
happen to a friend that bought a special order C1500 once. They kept putting
him off telling him it was delayed. I made some calls to some contacts I
have at that dealership {not the one I work at}and found out it came in and
was sold to someone who liked it after seeing it in the back of the lot and
paid cash for it. They got some snakes out there.... I hope this didn't
happen to you but I thought it was a good story to tell here. I know we have
only gotten 5 or so this year at my dealership all preordered. I was told we
wont have one for the lot until all the special orders are filled sometime
into middle of '06. Take that for what its worth, I was told that by one of
the salesmen, I don't trust any of them.....LoL. Good luck, hope they
suprise you with it soon!
