I once made a trip of around 150 mi once in Europe at an AVERAGE speed of 83
mph.

We all arrived safely. The traffic was fine. It seemed quite normal to me.
However I wouldn't expect every driver to be able to do that. So do we let
the lowest common denominator set the standard or ban useless drivers from
high speed highways ?
