He compared it to all sims.

A lot of people weren't running GPL. It ran poorly unless you had the very
latest computer setup.

The grip on the cars was way off. A few of us realized that from minute one.
Others had to wait until they were told by Kaemmer five years later before
they could figure it out.

There were fantasy cars and fantasy drivers in GPL.
