Hi Group,

I've been a mustang owner the last few years and now that it's paid off, I'm
looking at buying a Explorer. The price range I'm looking in is $10 to $12K,
so as near as I can tell, that looks like a 99 to 02 model with anywhere
from 50 to 90k miles, depending on trim level, etc....so of course I have
more than a few questions.

Other than the usual things to look out for when getting a used vehicle, is
there anything particular to Explorers I need to look for? And is there any
one problem area (outside of normal replacement stuff...belts, hoses,
brakes, etc) I should be concerned about?
