Hi all,

I put the front seats back in my '68 type 1 today.

First time in about 5 years off the road!

The thing is I can't remember how the springs on the runners attach to the
seats.

Are they supposed to pull the seats forward or back? The only way I can see
of getting them on has them stretched to double their normal length when the
seat is in a drivable position (can't be right - can it?).
