Go by your local Autozone and have them put a code reader on the OBD II
connector and read out the code. With the code, you can then search the
internet to give you an idea of what the problem is.

May be as minor as a loose gas cap, could be a plugged EGR bypass port, or
could be major problems.

The code will give you an idea
