A warranty claim can only legally be denied if a modification to your
car caused the problem that you want fixed under warranty.
I installed the bypass in less than a half hour using the simple
instructions that came with it. The C5's with manual transmissions are
not actually fixed in the recall- they just set up the computer so the
engine won't run if the column locks up. Get the bypass.
