Joe,
At highway speeds the ram air flows much more air thru the radiator than the
fan could ever hope to, it also lowers the ambient temp of the engine
compartment. In reality most vehicles wouldn't need a fan if they only ran
on the highway. Excepting of course the mountain grades with the A/C on ;-P
