Have BMW ever experimented with a boxer alignment in a vehicle, other
than a motorcycle, like Alfa Romeo?

I drove a white '92 Alfa 33 QV for several years while working in
Holland and enjoyed the car quite a lot. I had none of the infamous
Alfa probems over a span of about 3.5 years.
