Are you trying to make it a softer ride or a harder ride? Making a
sofer ride defeats the purpose of having a Z51. You would probably do
better to get Koni adjustable shocks so that you can change...

Bose is junk (old technology), and expensive to properly diagnose &
fix. If you are reading a Chiltons, you really need to buy a factory
service manual instead.

You can identify it by the RPO code under the arm rest. Someone will
have to tell you what it is because I don't own an '84.
