69 Mustang Alternator Wiring Question

On a 1969 Ford Mustang, should the stator wire from the alternator be
hooked up to anything? I have one diagram showing it as a factory
test plug and one showing it going to the regulator terminal...

How do I check the service engine soon diagnostic codes on a 2000
Dodge Caravan. I thought it was turn the key to the on position and
off 3 times, but I get nothing with this.

(1) Which wire at the ignition switch is the Hot at All Times Wire?
(2) Where does this wire come from?
