99 Chevy Blazer

The hood latch on my blazer is broken, and I'm trying to figure out another
way to open the hood any suggestions would help, thanks

Is the cable that releases the latch broken or is it just stuck? If it
is just stuck you can have someone pull the lever in the cab while you
bump the hood to unstick it.
