America has the worst traffic in the world
 

In terms of gridlock and delays, yes. We don't
have a very sophisticated traffic system and
don't maintain a lot of what we do have.

But in terms of drivers abiding by traffic laws
and general safety rules we're really not so bad.
In a lot of the world driving is pretty laissez-faire
and you REALLY take your life in your hands if
you hit the roads.
