156 pollen filter
 

I recently removed the pollen filter from my '99 2.0 TS, it didn't have a
cover over the housing and now water is pouring in after any amount of rain!
Should it have had some form of cover, if so I will make one of sorts. Any
ideas?

Yes it should have a cover. I'd suggest buying one on ebay, and putting
the (a) filter backs as well.
