Anyone played WRC 4 on PS2?

Any played WRC 4 on the PS2? I've heard its actually quite realistic,
especially with a FFB wheel.
How does it compare to the likes of RBR and Rally Legends. Ive got CMR 05
if anyone cares to compare it to that.

Thanks

hi,

in terms of realism, RBR is best with PC like handling.

cm2005 cars seem to have a strange way of handling, a bit canned, imo.

wrc4 excellent presentation and probably my fave overall. not as real
as rbr, but playable without a wheel. i need a wheel to remain
competitive in rbr.

hth.

Does RBR on the PS2 support FFB? I havent really got a wheel for my Xbox
becuase of the lack of FFB suport. And my laptop is up to running the
latest sims. Have you played WRC 4 with a wheel? Hoes does it feel?

Played WRC 4 with a red Momo and the DFP from Logitech and have to say
the FF effects on the PS2 are really no comparision to a good FF
implementation in a PC racing simulator like RBR, GPL or GTR!
The effects on the PS2 are more like a rumble effect! And although you
can get a really strong resistance from a FF wheel, it simply doesn=B4t
feel "right"!
Nevertheless the above mentioned wheels work very well for me on my PS2
with the exception of GT4 which doesn=B4 t support my older red Momo!

You played GT4 with one of the Logitechs? that any good. Before i left
home I used to have GPL on my PC with MS Force Feedback pro or Sidewinder
wheel or whatever the hell it was called. and the FF was unreal. It was
amazing how much I was with it! You can feel the car sliding before you
can see it. Was excellent stuff.

The Nordschleife in GT4 was good fun! Only reason I bought this game!
Didn=B4t care for the rest of the gamecontent! ;)
Excellent support of the DFP in GT4 btw!

Well, GPL andd FF is a completely different story!
That one really shines with a good FF wheel! But then it is a true sim,
a classic!
Not a "sim-light" as GT4! :D
