That's a lot less than I thought!

When we were looking for a 147 for LTOML there was a pristine
one for norra lorra dosh but it needed a clutch, and on-line
prices suggested not much change from a grand!

Dunno if the 147 has the dual mass flyweheel or not, but if that had needed
replacing on mine then the total would have been £1089.00. Fortunately it
was OK.
Phew.

Now another suspension joint is clonking, they seem to go every year/15,000
miles......

I've just paid the bill for the 75.

Pre-MOT checkover, oil & filter change and MOT.

78 quid.

Bloody bargain, in my book.

I did spend a morning crawling underneath with a tin of Waxoyl and a
lance before the test...

And I've now removed my blinging head unit and replaced it with a period
Clarion cassette deck :)

Need to run a new 12v feed to the cabin, as the speakers in a 75 are
rubbish (even though I've upgraded to decent drivers) - so I need to
stick a slim sub under the seat.

......to drown out the rattles.......
