GJC 97 ABS light on, take to dealer or not? by
hh
MY GJC 97 limited recently has the ABS light on. initially, it was on and
off from time to time, or off when started, and on after a minute. now it
just stays on. I am wondering if I should take it to a dealer to check out,
or to a local garage. Does local garage have the diagnosis tool for...

XJ Coolant system leak by
Matt Mika
Late last winter I had a freeze plug blow and the Jeep overheated a
bit. Since it was very hard to get to I just replaced it with a rubber
freeze plug. I dont know if that has anything to do with it, but it
seems it might.
I now loose coolant and can smell it in the cab when the heat is on
but the...

Rear Wheel Alignment by
gdkucera
I am showing unusual wear on the rear wheels of my '98 TJ. The
pattern is a saw tooth on the outer edge, noticable when rubbing your
hand from front to back (not outside to inside). Are the rear wheels
adjustable and could the problem be fixed?

91 Grand Wagoneer Oil Change =s high oil pressure, why? by
mmiller
Took my 91 Grand Wagoneer to Jiffy Lube last week for an overdue oil
change. (note it is getting colder here in New England) I noticed
that every morning since when I start the car the oil pressure guage
is pegged at the top ("80"), after 15 to 30 minutes the guage shows a
more 'normal' pressure...

Cal
Has anyone ordered from autos-lamps-mirrors.com? They have a pretty good
price on some lenses and lamps, (I like the performance lights) and I want
to be sure no one has had problems with them.

Winch solenoids by
Paul Calman
I need to get 3 solenoids for an old Desert Dynamics, a Ramsey worm-drive
clone.
Has anyone had good results with cheap ford-type starter solenoids?
I have found some continuous duty 200A units, but they are expensive.

tonneau cover for wrangler by
rgb
Many years ago I had a tonneau cover for an MG. It covered just the
cockpit, from the top of the dash to the rear of the body, with a
zipper down the center, between the seats. Does anyone know of such a
thing for a wrangler? I have seen "cockpit covers" but they cover the
roll bars and the...

Seatbelt retractor advice needed ( '01 WJ) by
Marc
Ok, driver side seatbelt retractor is being very contrary, the last 18
inches of belt after released just hang instead of being pulled back in.
If I take and push it gently back towards the slot in the B-pillar it
will go back..
I'm taking it that there is most likely NO user-serviceable parts...
