1995 Honda Civic Lx 1.5 cooling fan by
[email protected]
The radiator fan on a 1995 Honda Civic I bought a few weeks ago
does not come on. I have changed a defective thermoswitch and
the new one turns on in boiling water, also replaced the thermostat
(the old one was only opening about 1/3),, flushed the radiator
and ran the engine for nearly an hour at...

94/95 Honda civic by
[email protected]
My Honda Civic Lx has a sometimes problem
with the right side door lock(electric).
Sometimes it does not go all the way down
when locked with the key, thus leaving the
passenger side unlocked. I have found three
screws in the door panel that I expected
would allow the panel to be removed, no...

Honda Civic 1.5 Lx by
[email protected]
I bought a 1994 Civic last Fall and with advice
from this group have made several minor repairs.
This auto had very good care until about 2000 and
then nearly none for a couple of years which caused an
engine failure last year. The former owner had a 1995
Civic 1.5 installed. 80000miles on the 95...

shift knob? by
Ersin Deger
This is a question about a characteristic difference in --manual tranny--
shift knobs.
What makes the difference (in feeling) between a shift knob in a Civic
versus the one in an Accord? The (1998 LX) Accord shift knob does not
allow any vibrations (when you rest your hand on it) while you...

why change shifter bushings?? by
Ersin Deger
Hello folks,
A general question to get some valuable feedback/ideas:
Why would one want to change shifter bushings? I guess i am asking this
because i want to eliminate the "not-exactness" of the change of gears
and/or decrease the effort to put it in a specific gear and/or just make
it feel more...

2002 S2000 Convertible Top Problem by
ESchmitzer
My 2002 S2000 is experiencing unusual wear on the convertible top. On the
passenger side of the top, a small slit has developed in the top. On the
driver side, essentially in the exact same spot, you can fee the wear on the
inside and see it on the outside. It has not yet developed a slit/tear...

2001 Prelude timing belt by
esh
I have a 2001 Honda Prelude with 45,000 miles on it. It was purchased
in November of '05 with 35,000 miles on it. It was not used for daily
commuting; mostly, it was used once a month or so for long trips and
has been used that way until just this past month. My mechanic has
been telling me since...

We purchased this BEAUTIFUL white Honda Pilot EX (SUV) mid July 2005.
Unfortunately, we are needing a smaller vehicle. We have kept it in

'03 accord bulb replacement by
etessman
I am trying to change the headlight bulbs on my Accord. I cannot do
the 1/4 turn the manual says to do in order to get the bulb out. Is
there something I am missing, or a trick to get it out. There is not a
lot of room to work with behind the wheel well.

Advice needed on buying used car from private seller by
Ethan
I'm thinking of buying a used vehicle, probably a Honda CRV or Toyota RAV,
mainly because of their reputation for reliability, decent gas mileage, and
a certain (if limited) ability to handle high-clearance dirt roads.
My question is not so much about these particular models, but about any
advice...

Tranny Class Action - I'm objecting by

Hello,
I received a notice today that there is a class action lawsuit in
progress over transmission failures. The class action lawsuit would
result in an extension of the warranty.
In the fine print, it also mentions that the lawyers are looking for
$290,000, in addition to 9% of...

When I'm moving along and let totally off of the gas, sometimes the
TCS light will come on (bringing with it the service engine soon).
I've read the code, but all I ever see is the same old EGR por
clogged error (been meaning to get that fixed as soon as money is
availible).
