E46 Sport/Torture Seat! by GuppyPilot
Picked up an '03 330Ci convertible, with the sport package. WTF is with the seat?? Sure, it's nice and cozy at first, keeps you all snug when cornering, but it's killing me on longer drives! Actually, longer drives used to mean all day stuff, but now it means anything longer than 15 minutes. ...

E39 540 heater query by Dr Dolittle
All, Suffered a cracked coolant expansion tank last week and lost approx half coolant limping it back to garage. All fixed now but the cab heater seems to have a mind of it's own - mainly hot ... Have I cooked the cab heater valve?

Tästä on kyllä vitsit vähissä by Jarno Salminen

Xenon or bi-xenon? by Ikke
Hi everybody, Just another question related to xenon lights - my five year old BMW E46 320d has the xenon option, but I've noticed that only the daytime running lights are xenon lights. Shouldn't the high beams be xenon as well? I've always assumed xenon to mean bi-xenon, but after I noticed...

RPM Wheels by Gordon Shumway
Does anyone have a set of these wheels on their car? What quality is the finish compared to OEM? I have a 2005 M3 with 18" wheels I was thinking of buying a set for. The entire set of RPM R-505's is less money than only one 18" BBS RGR. Are the BBS wheels that much better or are the RPM's a good...

Bumper removal? by The Todal
I have a BMW 525 manufactured in 2005, and after an unfortunate collision the parking sensor on the rear bumper has been pushed in. I'm wondering if I can fix it. Presumably the first step is to remove (or at least loosen) the rear bumper. Can anyone tell me how this is done - are the securing...

530i E39 windscreen wiper fails in heavy rain by Malcolm H
I have had this car from new in 2001. On about 5 occasions, each time in heavy rain, the windscreen wiper has stopped working after operating for a few minutes. The only way to get it working again is to stop the car, switch off and then restart the engine. The wiper then works ok for a few more...

thoughts on used 2001 318i? by David
Hello, I am considering one of these used. It has full service history and 82,000 km. Is black paintwork and in excellent condition - it's being sold at an estate auction. Is there anything I should look out for?

E46 - No Start, Lots of electricity by Jeff Strickland
My daughter's 323 suddenly and without warning has failed to start. There is lots of power. The key is turned to START, but there is no noise from anywhere. I would expect to hear a relay click or something -- my Ford F150 makes all sorts of noises inside the dash from relays and such. My...

automatic gearbox failure by Mario-Laser d.o.o.
I have an '00 X5 with a 3 litre diesel engine (besides '04 530d with a bit stronger engine) and averything has been perfect so far. Few days ago my gearbox died. I mean really died. I couldn't get my car moving. Few days before that I pulled a 4t trailor for a very short time and, at a time, it...
