SteveH

Pulled the 75 from ebay, and have so far sorted a set of gas front
shocks, now looking for a pair of lowered springs and shocks for the
rear.
My £300 from the Golf should see an MOT sorted, the cosmetics...

Catman

but there is a slight issue that has got worse. Turning off the ignition
doesn't turn off the ignition (IYSWIM) All the idiot lights stay on, and
the manual fan still operates. This indicates to me that either the...

I have just had a cambelt failure at 67k on my 156 2.0 TS. I am taking

166 stalling at 120 km/h by
blabla
Hello
My 166 2.0 is stalling at 120-140 km/h.
A few months ago it stalled at 160km/h so the problem gets worse.
There's also a hesitational moment once in a while at lower speeds.
The motor has recently been replaced ('little' problem with the main
crankshaft bearing)
the stalling problem has been...

73 Spider - SPICA by
~Zaitsev
The engine runs rich and back fires on deceleration. Someone said that
it had to be tuned to run rich so that it would start cold. I was
wondering if this might be the Thermostatic Actuator? Now for more
questions:
1. What does this actuator do?
2. Where the heck is it? I've looked at the engine...
