50's De Soto in the same post! I was thinking about picking one up
and doing a partial resotoration along with a modernization. I am no
purist when it comes...

automotive restoration project software? by
1967.ranchero.restoration
Hi All,
Anyone have any good recommendations for software to track automotive
restoration projects? Or, a web site that has a data base to track all
the bits, pieces, money and vendors relating to a car's restoration?
Not too worried about cost if it is good software or a good site.

Custom cars and antiques, ye or ne by
stevegoodsworth via CarKB.com
I was wondering if anyone here had an opinion on the custom upgrading of
antique cars? I have had some feedback on other forums that antiques should
be left alone and mods should be left to replicas. let me know what you think

Value of Barrett Brake Dokter? Ford Model A etc. by
PeteM
Anyone have an idea of what a Barrett Brake Dokter might be worth?? I
bought one, thinking I'd cut it up to make a tool post grinder for my
lathe. Thought I'd check if this had more value to someone who
actually needed to true up conventional drum brakes.

My Father's Dream by
Karrie
In high school, my father had a red, two-door '57 Chevy. It was his baby.
He loved that car. He loved it so much in fact, that after it didn't run
anymore, he parked it in his front yard to await the fix-up it deserved.
Well, he married at 18, had a couple of kids, and worked hard to give...
