Mallory dizzy's on a RRc by
minimodz
Hi, My rangie has got a Mallory dizzy on it (the on with two setos of
condensors and points on it...)
Recently I'm getting problems with what I've traced down to the dizzy:
if I put my foot down, it splutters and does not pick up, but does it
fine if I don't floor it.
I had wondered about...

Ed James
I have a 97 Jimmy 4X4 with a 4.3, auto trans and push button trasfer
case. It has 130K miles and is not modified or driven off-road. When
accellerating from a stop it seems to stay in first gear until I
release the pedal , then it seems to shift to third and works well in
third and overdrive...

Tires: P vs LT-rated ? by
J.Smith
Assuming the same size, which ones are more appropriate for my Toyota Tundra
4x4: P or LT-rated? I haul a load quite infrequently. I also have infrequent
(and mild) off-pavement ventures. Wet/snow performance is important, as well
as dry, needless to say, on a year-round tire. (I am considering...

Wilt
Hi
I know NOTHING about cars. When I goto start my car I just get successive
clicking. I have turned everything off and still get the same thing. This
happened the other night, I turned everything off and it started. Do I
just need a jump? Or is it something more serious. I put a new battery...

1500 Silverado Lifted by
Brad
Hi,
Well it is hard to do, but I kind of have to. I am selling the first 4x4
that I ever built up. It's a Silverado 1500, comes with a 4" lift, 33's, 4
day lighters, and a 10,000 lb winch. Have a look if anyone is interested.
Thanks.

chains or Spikes Spiders on GMC Yukon 4x4? by
Eric Smith
I recently purchased a 2004 GMC Yukon 4x4 (AWD). I'd like to drive it
from San Jose to Denver CO and/or Eugene OR during the winter, so
there's some possibility that I might encounter conditions requiring
chains. It looks like in theory I'm exempt from the Oregon and Colorado
chain laws since...

Tyres or chains? by
Paul Rooney
Anyone got experience of using snow tyres and/or snow chains?
Is one preferable to the other?
Anything else I should know about them?
Cheers.

GMC fender replacement by
adamscreek
I put a dent in the passenger side fender this past weekend. I belive
it's going to have to be replaced. The body shop wants $1000 ($225
part/$800 labor), and I was wondering how easy it would be to install
the fender myself? I've found fenders online at fairly decent prices,
and could get it...

99 Cherokee Stalling by
Yukon
I've had great luck with this jeep until this month. It is only used on the weekends, maybe 50-100 miles a week. First, it started
to sputter a bit when it was warmed up and put in reverse only, but always came out of it and ran well. Then last week, after
sitting in the garage all week as it...

Tow Packages by
Draco
I have a 1986 Nissan Pickup 4x4 and I was wondering what the best type
of tow package (preferably welded on) was good for the truck. If at
all possible, I would like to be able to mount it on a different
vehicle if the truck all of a sudden dies.
