97 GC grease seals by
Cal
Hi!
I have read a post, I think, in the past about the grease seals wearing out
on the rear diff next to the wheels. I think it was said that the seals
would not leak, but could make noise. What do they sound like? I have some
noise, which may just be tire/highway.
thanks!

mmiller
My GW tends to stall unexpectedly w or w/o warning first thing in the
morning, until it is fully warmed up. I have replaced the ignition
module, with maybe a 75% improvement. It still stalls. This morning
after about 5 min of normal running it seemed to go quiet, the voltage
meter dropped, I...

Seatbelt retractor advice needed ( '01 WJ) by
Marc
Ok, driver side seatbelt retractor is being very contrary, the last 18
inches of belt after released just hang instead of being pulled back in.
If I take and push it gently back towards the slot in the B-pillar it
will go back..
I'm taking it that there is most likely NO user-serviceable parts...

However the adjustability of the Rancho can't be beat.
Also note the the comfort level depends more on the...

tonneau cover for wrangler by
rgb
Many years ago I had a tonneau cover for an MG. It covered just the
cockpit, from the top of the dash to the rear of the body, with a
zipper down the center, between the seats. Does anyone know of such a
thing for a wrangler? I have seen "cockpit covers" but they cover the
roll bars and the...

OT - Riding lawn tractor help - please! by
freakshow77
It was a faulty ignition switch. Staying stuck in the on position just
like you said. Replaced the ignition and the mower is back to normal.
Thanks for the help Bill.

Winch solenoids by
Paul Calman
I need to get 3 solenoids for an old Desert Dynamics, a Ramsey worm-drive
clone.
Has anyone had good results with cheap ford-type starter solenoids?
I have found some continuous duty 200A units, but they are expensive.
