'91 Accord Radio Power Question by
Phil
The radio in our '91 Accord would quit working frequently, the display
fading in and out, so I decided to replace the unit with a Panasonic CD
player. No problem, until I tried to locate the battery power lead that
provides 12V power all the time. This lead and all radio wiring leads are
clearly...

Accord fog light by
[email protected]
I'm in the UK and have a 2000 Accord. One of the fog light lenses is
smashed and needs replacing. It's a Bosch unit which I can't find on
the net. I have been quoted =A379 for a new unit. Can anyone recommend
an alternative source rather than main dealers.

door it will not open or close unless I force it manually. When it is
closed the dash indicator light is extinguished (as it should) but when I

2005 Accord solar tint glass? by
Tom
I remember back in 1999 when I bought my accord ex v6, it has this really
great window glass called solar tint glass. The great thing about it was in
the summer you could barely feel the suns rays. I was wondering if the 2005
accord ex also has this feature? I just bought a 2005 accord ex sedan a...

Accord LX '05: Daytime Running Lights? by
Charles Lasitter
This safety feature is standard on Canadian models but not available in
the US. I have read about people ordering the required module from
Hamsar and even found a site with instructions for installing it.
What I can't seem to locate though is some outlet in the part for the
US. Anyone else tried...

Performance brake pads for Accord LX? by
Charles Lasitter
I have a new '05, and the factory pads are supposed to last to 110k,
and that's great, but I'm really more interested in maximizing braking
performance.
I've put Performance Friction pads on other vehicles I've owned and
been pleasantly surprised at the improvement. I don't mind that they
might...

Glue for door vapor barrier by
Randolph
I need to replace the vapor barrier in the door of a friend's car. In my
Civic the vapor barrier is held in place by a chewing-gum like adhesive
that has held up well for over 10 years. Does anyone know where I can
find this type of adhesive?
Thanks

Any Prelude buffs out there? by
RickyC
Hi,
What I'd like to know is: Is the (1995-ish) Prelude was superior to
the older (1988) Prelude with the pop-up headlights. I had a 1998
model and am thinking of getting a 1995-ish dated one now. Were there
any significant improvements to the later model (besides the body
styling)?
I'm thinking...

Installing Kill Switch on Honda Accord by
[email protected]
I would like to install a kill switch on a 2000 Honda Accord LX. In the
past (with 80s model cars), I have simply connected a circuit breaker
to the active terminal of the battery. However, as I recall for those
days, the battery wires were pretty thin (like 12 gauge). So I could
just use 12 gauge...

It's official. Manual transmissions are making a comeback. by
Gordon McGrew
There are lots of great statistics at the Government CAFE web site.
Lots of compiled data on cars going back to 1977 (and some even
older.) One interesting trend tracked is the percentage of
automobiles with automatic transmissions.
In 1977, 84.1% of all new cars had AT. Under pressure of...

My 2004 Acura TL was recently smacked pretty good on the passenger side

the weekend noticed that the lock and window on the front passenger
