2000ACCORD-Which shop manual to BUY? by SadaYama
www.helminc.com is selling FACTORY authorized honda repair manual for $70 + $7 SH, and I like them for clarity and clear pictures. But the Chilton's and Hayes manual's seem to be cheaper. Can some one recommend which is better. Thanks in advance.

Any issues with installing outdoor temp guage? by JeremyE
I have an 04 Honda Accord EX (4 door, manual trans). I don't have the outdoor temperature guage installed, but I can see above the odometer reading a space for the outdoor temperature. I want to install the outdoor temp guage (P/N 08E71-SDA-100) and found it...

Timing belt / water pump by mpet500
I own a 2001 Honda Civic. It has about 100,000 KMs (62000 miles) I just brought my car in to be repaired. The Honda dealer told me I have to change the timing belt and water pump. Athough the timing belt is not broken, he recommended I change it since it is all cracked. Unfortunately changing...

I have an '04 Honda Accord EX with 42,000 miles on it. Just over the past few weeks I noticed something strange with my clutch. When I press in the clutch, within the last two inches before the clutch is fully pressed in I can feel and hear slight vibrations in the clutch, like it's rubbing up...

Quiet tires=soft tires? by Frank
Hi there I had a debate with a co-worker about tires today. I have 4 Michelin Pilot MXM4 (All-Season P205/55 R16 89V) and I find them loud. My co-worker told me that the road noise is mostly from these tires and that low-rolling-resistance tires are hard, so they're loud. Is this true? First are...

05 Accord door speakers by Kevin McMurtrie
The rear deck speakers in my 05 Accord Hybrid were a breeze to change but I don't see how the grilles come off the door speakers. It kind of appears that they don't come off. Do I have to lift the door panel? If so, where are all of the screws? I see the screw cover panels behind the opener...

KREX Graphite used in dealer oil change. by dutchman53
Krex Graphite is a non chemical lubricant used excusively by new car dealers. The graphite is less than 1 micron in size and only 6 oz are added to your oil change. The dealer adds this to your oil change to give you Roadside Assistance and Road Hazard Tire Protection for 120 days from the date...

2000 Accord EX - giving only 25MPG :-{ by [email protected]
My 2000 Accord EX, 5-Spd, 55K, Boston, used to give 30-32MPG. Suddenly this winter I noticed that it is giving only 25MPG. Can someone tell what could be the reason. I do regular oil changes and nothing else, so far. Please advise.

1996 Civic LX dash lights blinking and speedometer jumping. help! by [email protected]
I was driving the car and all of a sudden I noticed the speedometer needle jumping up and down. This happens even if the car is in PARK and I step on the gas. All the dashboard lights blink on and off also. Then today the car just stopped running. At first I thought it ran out of gas, but it turns...

Civic Hybrid starting by dxmah
On my 2003 Civic Hybrid, I noticed in the past few days on initial start when turning the key over, the engine doesn't start immediately like it normally doses. I had to turn it several times before it kicked in but after a delay. Any thoughts on what's going on? Should I be concerned? Thanks/don

CD Player Problem-COde in display by Gott est gute zu mir.
We have a 2001 CRV and the CD player has stopped and displays COde in the area where the track number would be. I looked at the error codes in the manual and it does not list this one. It seems to be wanting a 5 digit code of some sort. Thanks for any help. J.

Bad Honda Paint by [email protected]
I know this has been brought up before, but I can't believe a class action lawsuit or recall hasn't occurred yet. How many of you have paint on your Honda that chips like mad? My Accord is a little over 1 year old and probably has 15 chips on the hood. It's never been on gravel, and I keep my...

Is my car screwed? by Dee
I was told last week by my mechanic that my 94 Accord EX (4-cyl.) has a lower radiator hose that has a slow leak. I've been topping off the radiator every morning while waiting for payday to have it fixed. Meanwhile, last night my husband used my car. This morning I forgot to check the...

Dying by degrees ('91 Integra gs) by zZero
OK I exaggerate. Little things have died. More things than on my 1983 Accord I sold in 2000. First there was the rip in the fabric on the left edge of the drivers seat. A cancer developed in the foam below. I stitched in a tan patch which lasted for a couple of years. Then some of the dashboard...

96 civic temperature control slider by [email protected]
I am having a problem with my 1996 civic's temperature control slider. I don't think it's connected any more to the mechanism. I read he http://www.realcaraudio.com/forums/showthread/t-226492.html that on the 94 model you can get to the area by taking out the stereo. Can you do the same on...

Can you pushstart MT 1991 Civic? by [email protected]
I only ask because looking at the ECM PRG-EFI relay it sure looks like it would be rather difficult to do. Anone done it? Just thinking about the time my starter died in my 1981 Subaru 4WD. I was parked on a hill, so it was easy to slip it into reverse, roll backwards and pop the clutch. I suspect...
