Buying 2007 Accord by [email protected]
Hi all, I have been researching and shopping for used cars, and I test drove a 2007 Accord today, with 91K miles on it. Here is what I found: 1. The car pulls slightly to the left on highway. 2. The entire car as well as the steering wheel shudders slightly on highway 3. The car pulls to the...

Buying high mileage 2007 Accord by [email protected]
Hi all, I test drove a used 2007 Accord EX Sedan today. It's a 4-cylinder automatic transmission, with 122K miles on it. The car drives smoothly in the city and highway. The only major problem I have noticed thus far is slight sluggishness while accelerating. Is there a way to verify if the...

Honda Element 2003 SRS part? by [email protected]
Anyone know about whether this existing part (the SRS) is affected if wires get severed? Do the wires and box all come together or are they separate. This looks like just the housing. If line(wires) can be rewired(non Honda dealer price) to function, Do we still need the computer part? Hoping to...

Hi, just got a 1986 Prelude, headlights are in the permanent "up" position. by [email protected]
The headlights both low and high beam work properly. The retractor motors do nothing when the lights are turned on or off. The lights remain in the up position. When i spin the manual retractor knobs, the retractor motors kick-on and the headlights cycle down, then back up. I'm guessing the issue...

My dealer just replaced my tires for my 2009 Accord with Yokohama Avid Ascend 225/50 R17s. My older tires were Michelins, and besides tread wear had cracking in the surface of the rubber. The service guy said the Yokohamas might be a bit more resistant to road salt induced surface cracking....

Dear Experts, I have a 1996 Honda Accord. And, a hydraulic scissor jack and jack stands. One thing has always bothered me. The Honda manual only shows how to jack up the car with the scissor jack that comes with the car. In that case, there is only a single point to carry all the weight. No...

1992 Accord idle problem by Todd
I just bought a 1992 Accord with 84k for my teenagers to beat up on. Of course it seemed to run fine when I test drove it, but now it vibrates roughly when idling in gear and surges when in park and the radiator fan comes on. I've learned a lot by reading the info from this group, and would welcome...
