86 Honda accord, gasoline carb, auto by dhallgar
I bought this old 86 Honda accord car about six months ago and have fallen in love with it. My problem: about a month ago, it began running out of gas after using only seven of the maximum ten gallons, now it only takes seven gallons to fill it back up. Each time I remove the cap cap off the gas...

Transmission flush harmful? by jbourgeois
I have heard conflicting opinions on whether a transmission flush harms an automatic transmission or not. I am considering a flush and replacement of fluid for a 98 Accord. It may have some non-Honda ATF and is shifting a bit rough. Any thoughts?

91 Accord Intermittent Start - HELP! Main Relay Differences by Rob
I just purchased a 91 Honda Accord and am having a strange intermittent problem starting. While the main relay seems to be an obvious culprit, the car not only has the problem while hot and cold, it loses all power and you can't attempt to start until opening the door. When the problem doesn't...

Redline MTL in Honda tranny. by Randolph
My transmission is getting a little harsh when shifting into 2nd, particularly when cold. A friend with a VW says that his old tranny (180k miles) shift a lot better after he put Redline MTL in it. Somewhere I believe I have heard or read that people have experienced premature failure of the...

I know I should have asked before, but I just bought a new Honda CR-V 2.0i ES 4WD. Did I make a good choice? What are common problems with this model?

CR-V radio US to European frequency? by KT
Hello, Can anyone help me how to program a 2001 Honda CR-V EX radio from US standard 0.2 MHz frequency interval (eg. 90.1, 90.3, 90.5) to European 0.1 MHz (or is it actually 0.15 MHz) interval? Most of the radios have some hidden menu to change this country code. Thanks, Kimmo

honda warranty by s o
Hi, I just bought a 2002 crv that still has 6 month under warranty. I'm considering getting a completely inspection by a dealership. My question is do you think they're less likely to reveal any problems because it's under warranty. I don't know much about how...

stuck caliper... by Abeness
Confound it!! So I was all set to replace clutch master and slave cyls today on my 94 Civic, and hit a massive NYC pothole on the way to my friends' garage (level, enclosed). Shortly after the pothole I hear this scraping sound from my left front wheel, worse when I braked. So I get to the garage...

sealing hydraulic connections by Abeness
Hydraulic connections (e.g. clutch, brakes) are self-sealing, right? No compound for fear of contaminating the hydraulic fluid, and no anti-seize for the same reason?

Larger gas tank on a '93 Civic vx by [email protected]
I am getting close to 50MPG on my commuter '93 Civic VX (no hybrid for me:). I can get about 420 miles/tank before I chicken out and fill up the 10 gallon tank (I can usually get about 8.5 gallons in there). I want to extend the range of my civic by putting in a bigger gas tank from the same...

reset SRS light on a 2000 Accord by ';'%?PF ;/l.
How do I reset my SRS light on a my 2000 Accord? My manual says there should be an SRS connector, but I have not found it. Does the 2000 Accord have one? I found a service connector locator for Hondas at: http://www.alflash.narod.ru/OBDII/Hondaloc.pdf but no SRS is listed for 2000 Accord. They...

98 Accord Sedan Low Beam Bulb - HB4 51 watt or 55 watt? How to Remove/Replace shroud? by Don Enderton
I'm replacing the right low beam bulb on my 98 Accord EX V6 sedan for the first time, which gives rise to two questions: 1) The owner manual says to use a 51 watt HB4 bulb, and that's also stamped right on the plastic near the bulb on the car itself. But most of the HB4 bulbs I see listed by...

wiper/head light problems - 93 accord by [email protected]
When I turn my headlights on, I get a delay of about 2 seconds before it comes on. This doesn't seem normal to me. I am also expereincing some wiper problems. When I turn it on, it takes quite a bit of time to come on (5 sec). Sometimes it doesn't come on at all. If I hold the stalk down it...
