1996 Soft Top HELP!! by jfbeth
I just traded in my Civic for this used 1996 Mustang GT Convertible. I've never owned a convertible before, so I'm new at this soft top deal. The roof is fine going down, but when going back up, the right side meets the right hole, but the left side needs some serious pushing to get into the hole...

Production Rant by Ritz
You'd think that Ford would recognise that they have a winner on their hands with the new Mustang and *increase* production to meet demand. I've been toying with the idea of picking up a new GT and supercharging it for a weekend car and dealer after dealer has attempted to charge a premium over...

High gas prices - a windfall by Bob Willard
Guess who makes out when the price of gas shoots up? The credit card companies charge a flat percentage of the price of the gas sold (usually 2-3%). So, when gas prices change from $2.50/gal to $3.50/gal, the Amex/Visa/MC/etc. gang love it. Arrrgh. -- Cheers, Bob

Restoring the "silvering" on a 69 mustang by Lee Coleman
Is there a way for the novice restorer to touch up or restore the silvering on the dash trim pieces? Over the years it has been worn off from cleaning and age. Does anyone know what color of silver should be used? Thanks in advance. Lee 69 Mach 1

Muffler comparison info? by Randy Pavatte
I have a 90 GT w/AOD, and some Flowmaster 2-chamber mufflers that have been on it almost since I bought it new. They seem to be holding up fine, but I'm still considering new ones. Does anyone know of a website or other online comparison I can visit that gives specs such as db ratings at various...

front swaybar/lowering springs by bradtx
Hi All, While the springs in my '89 are original (and nicely sagged ~1") something popped up by surprise lately. After installing '95 front spindles so I could install the PBRs from my '00 GT I noticed at the next oil change that the swaybar had been hitting the drain plug for the front sump. ...

It's a done deal by SVTKate
I picked up my Liberty yesterday. They had to bring it all the way from Kansas city. Someone was test driving my Mustang before we even finished the deal and went home. I sure hope that whoever gets her, takes care of her and has a ton of fun with her. Then, I went on home, and rather than...

gASS rape continues by Rich
So, oil is down to about $64/barrel, and the last time it was that price, gasoline was $3.25/gallon (U.S./U.S.gals) in Canada. Now, it's still near $5. The oil companies are RAKING it in as are the refiners.

Are you just pretending to be a moron or are you the real deal? Personally, I think you're a fake. Nobody can be that big of an idiot & spell correctly. Doesn't take much to get you off does it?

Exhaust questions for 90 GT by Randy Pavatte
Hello. I have a 90 GT with Motorsport 1 5/8" unequal shorty headers, aftermarket H-pipe with hi-flow cats (2 instead of the stock cat/pre-cat setup), 2 chamber Flowmasters, and turndowns. While I upgraded my whole exhaust system for performance gains, I went with the turndowns to add to the sound...
