I did the standard somewhat paranoid test this week - searched myself (dryheatdave) in Google. Q. Does anyone know about http://www.doeuv.com & why are our alt.autos.corvette NG posts appearing there ?

1999 C5 Airdam - What's the point by DryHeatDave
So, having tagged a truck tire with my C5, the center section of the airdam is buckled & I have to fit a replacement. It showed up today, thanks to UPS. So, taking the airdam out the box, my impression is, it is so flimsy(?) lightweight anyway, there is NO WAY that you can apply force on it,...

96 C4 Cruise Not working by [email protected]
The Cruise on my 96 never worked when I purchased it and I need to get this thing fixed. I turn the switch on but nothing, is there a dash light that should come on wether you are driving or not? I checked the fuse and it was blown, replaced it and still nothing. I'm thinking it may be the module...

$100 Gas Voucher, Save On Gas by e142xkx7[_2_]
I just discovered this new site that's giving away a $100 gas voucher, for free! Can you believe the price of gas these days? In my area it's currently over $4.75 per gallon, and all signs point to it going even higher, very soon. I remember the days when gas used to cost $0.99 per gallon, but...

Looking for defroster vent cover for 82 by Eagle
Hello, I'm in the middle of restoring an '82 Corvette. We're about half way through the dash. I've not been able to find out what the center defroster vents are supposed to be covered with and none of my pictures from other cars show this detail. Corvette America and Ecklers don't appear to list...

Coil spring R/R thought by EarthDaddy
Thanks for all the help guys! A friend here locally is telling me I could just merely place a floor jack under the A-frame....pump it up....remove the lower ball joint..then release the pressure on the jack, thus lowering the A-frame and the spring dropping with it. Sounds like it should work. ...

valve lash adjustment by earthlink newgroups
I do not know the history of my motor, but I have run into a situation that I could use a little input on. It is a Chevrolet 350, of course. I had a noisy valve, and found I could not adjust the lash on #7 intake. Long story short, I pulled the cam, and found the lobe to be extremely worn. In...
